By addressing the socioeconomic factors that lessen the impact of HIV and AIDS and thereby lower their risk and vulnerability, Iliso also aims to improve the health and economic security of vulnerable children and youth. Additionally, the organization offers structured focus groups to support these individuals as they transition into making life decisions. Evidence-based interventions (YOLO, Let’s Talk) are used in the programs to lower risk and lessen the effects of HIV infected and at-risk children. These interventions concentrate on age-appropriate and financially viable activities.
