
Iliso Nutrition program is the program that was the first program for Iliso 2004 after Vivian Zilo founder of Iliso saw a need as she was working as a research assistant for the Desmond Tutu TB center in Stellebosch University. Vivian discovered that unemployment was most people are not taking their medications due to hunger, after conducting various community gatherings in the community of Site C.
Iliso Nutrition supported by Percy Fox Foundation feeding plus minus 3600 beneficiaries per day from different community nutrition centers since 2007 and CNDC nutrition centers in Town Two and George supported by Department of Social Department Western Cape feeding 467 beneficiaries per day. These beneficiaries need to be equipped with skills so to exit the nutrition program.
