Iliso since 2016 started partnership with Independent Development Trust (IDT) funded by the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure (DPWI).iliso as an implementation organization created more than 8000 job opportunities to women, youth and people with disabilities in the Western Cape at Metro East West Coast , Drakestein Cape Winelands and Overberg Municipalities. Eastern Cape at Chris Hani, Emalahleni, Enoch Mgima Municipalities.
These program create sustainable exist work opportunities for the youth and those in the vulnerable sector. The EPWP program reduces the negative impact of high level of unemployment in our communities.
All this is to help people keep off streets and have to resort to other measures , just to make ends meet and be able to provide for their families.
